Information for Elite Student Athletes

Are you an elite student athlete with the potential of playing at the college or university level? If you are, you need to carefully plan your high school courses, know the application procedures and dates and how to earn a spot on a team roster.
Tips for Student Athletes

1) Understand the eligibility rules and requirements. Research them early for anywhere you want to attend school as they vary by region.
2) Focus on your academics, especially core compulsory courses. Recruiters will want to see the combination of strong athletics and grades.
3) Maintain a good working relationship with your coach, teachers and guidance counsellor. These people will help you navigate the system, help you with time management and provide helpful advice.
4) Focus on short term goals.
5) Work on time management, including rest time.
